Well Shit
Well, it looks like OE finally made it a year! But unfrotunatly ... shit happens. I guess both me and Nikells both decided to go on and do different things. Nikells is doing comics over at Planet Wolfenstein which truly kicks ass. I've always loved all the Gamespy Industry sites. Infact if you ever go to the Planet Duke Forum there is NO chance you can miss me there, I'm all over that place like a bad suit. I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to get a job over at Planet Duke for a while now.
Although OE isn't completly dead ... it could possibly come back ... but don't count on it too much. Nikells is workin on his own thang and I'm going to be starting a comic of my own aswell. I have big plans for that one like I did with OE, and no it's not based on people I knew, it's all original characters. I'll be posting it here when I've finally started it. I don't plan to have a huge cast of characters and only use a few of them, as it stands the comic will start with only 2 people and expand to 4, maybe 5.
Whats been up with me? Not a whole lot. For Christmas I got Windows XP and nearly went insane trying to get it installed on my computer. In the end it was people in a newsgroup and not Microsoft Tech Support that helped me solve the problem. I also go a sword which I've been wanting for a long time, it's deadly sharp and I cut myself the second day I had it, it's been safely tucked away since. I also just bought a CD Burner with the money I got for christmas and a spindel with 50 CD-Rs. It's already been useful, although I think my sisters were more excited about then I was ("I'm gonna burn this song and this song and this song-" "Umm ... I bought the Burner ... and the CD's ... wouldn't it be nice if you asked me first" "... I guess")
Well anyway surprisingly I don't have anything else to say at the moment. Maybe just that my next comic should be up ... in the next few months. You all know I'm horribly slow with this kind of thing, and the fact that there are no drivers for my scanner for Windows XP doesn't really help.

OE - ON HOLD - MAYBE FOREVER
Anyone whos been here more than twice in the last few months will notice not a lot is going on. Both Pluto and myself have unintentionally got ourselvs working on other things.
Im not sure what Plutos up to exactly, maybe he'll give something away in his spot, but ive got a place at Planet Wolfenstein doing what I love best - online comics about nazis!
Its been great working here, but I dont feel im producing the right kind of art for the comic yet.
If I ever return to work on OE id like to change the style a lot from what ive been doing already, each day im getting more experienced at drawing and CG and im beggining to see exacty how the comic should look. Looking back at the concept sketches i did, the ones i thought were brilliant 3 months ago, now look terrible.
Ill still be hanging about the forums, and keeping in contact with Pluto (mostly so I can see what hes working on!) so there could well be a return... this is not the end!
